Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) test includes the evaluation of the entire body as a whole. FCE is a formalized test often used to determine a safe return to work and at what capacity. Many times, an FCE is ordered by a physician before someone returns to work after an injury requiring treatment and absence from regular work duties.
